The State of Ohio does not yet allow for fully electronic petitoning, instead requiring registered voters to physically sign petition sheets.
This can be a cumbersome and often expensive process for candidates and issues that want to get on local, county and state-wide ballots.
PetitionPledge aims to ease some of that burden by allowing registered voters to self validate and "pledge to sign" petitions they wish to support.
